Patrizia Proietti (Florence, 1968) completed her education with University degree in Economics and Business and Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics and Politics.
From 2000 to 2009, she works as researcher and lecturer at the University of Pisa (Dipartimento di Agronomia e Gestione dell'Agroecosistema), with expertise on rural development, agricultural knowledge and innovation system, development strategies for multifunctional farms, marketing of tourist-rural initiatives, social learning, policies evaluation. In the same period she works as expert consultant on policies evaluation and planning for several organisms, as well as professional trainer in educational and vocational courses.
Since 2009 she is senior expert on rural development and innovation dynamics and knowledge transfer in agriculture of the National Rural Network for Tuscany, as well as expert consultant on policies evaluation.
In her current position, she conducts activities of socio-economic research on rural development and agricultural knowledge and innovation system issues. She also provides general support for the planning of the agricultural and rural development policies of Tuscany Region, with a particular focus on innovation and knowledge transfer, carries out socio-economic analysis preliminary to the designing of the RDP, collaborate to monitoring and evaluation activities, both ex-ante and ex-post.
She has excellent know-how on social and individual learning and participative methodologies, quantitative and qualitative analysis, as well as excellent skills in managing participatory practices.
